This new client site aims to put golfers in touch with each other so that, when visiting another country on business or vacation, they can invite each other to play golf at their home course(s), hopefully at the members guest rate.
For example, if you are in America and going to Ireland for the Ryder Cup in 2006, you could arrange to play a 'mini' Ryder Cup with members of Irish courses while you are there, and arrange to do the same when the Ryder Cup returns to the US.
Users register themselves on the site, and if they want to play golf at a particular course or region, they use the search for members in that course/region. They can view course members and contact them and see if they are available to play. If members are available, they may be able to play at the guest rate which is usually significantly lower than the ordinary green fee.
