The website is owned and run by Roomex Hotels Limited, a wholly owned Irish company, and is an expansion of the already well known www.Roomex.com website, which has been selling Irish hotel availability for over 2 years now.

From a technical point of view, the site is very much leading edge and re-affirms Webtrade as being at the forefront of web development in Ireland. The site is developed using the .NET 2.0 framework. There is full content management behind the site, but the key part of the project is the booking engine and aggregator. The booking engine has the ability to receive stock from any third party source, aggregate it in the back-end, before delivering it to online users as they search for hotels.
