Webtrade have completed a site re-design for Uncorked.
Based in Dublin, Uncorked are one of the countrys leading off licenses supplying quality wines and gifts to private individuals and companies alike.
In addition to a new site structure plus look and feel the redesigned website also contains the following new functionality.
- Wine products categorised by country
- Wine product search by keyword, country, colour, style
- Wine offers system - Uncorked staff can create their own offers such as "Buy 12 Pay for 11" and "Buy X Save Y"
- Wine discounts - Uncorked staff can create multiple discount codes which allow users to avail of reductions

The initial design for our website was very much based on an information only model. While we had a shopping facility on it, that was always just seen as an add on. Within a year of our initial site going live, we realised that we needed to improve the layout and shopping facility. Within six weeks, Webtrade have finalised all the work, adding on the various extra components such as special offers, a home page that we would have full control over all the content and a search facility that allows the customer to browse wines by any one of 4 categories. The change over from old site to new was painless, and I firmly believe that we now have the best wine website in Ireland, if not Europe.
