The Medical Council regulates the Medical Profession in Ireland, protecting the interests of the public when dealing with registered medical practitioners.

Webtrade was contracted to develop a new site to helop the Council streamlien ist administrative process and make it easier for doctors, the public and the media to deal with the Council.

The new website is fully managed by the LiveEdit content management system and features an online directory of over 14,000 registered mediacl practitioners. The directory is synchronised with the Council's in-house Oracle database.
