Aviation Regulator Website The Commission for Aviation Regulation's new site has now gone live - www.aviationreg.ie

Using Webtrade's content management system, the Commission have full control over their site and are able to ensure that all of their statutory obligations are up-to-date.

Specifically the new site details:

  • Consumer Rights (including those with reduced mobility)
  • Travel Trade, Groundhandling & Aircraft Licensing
  • Aviation Legislation

Also on the site, there is a complaints wizard safeguarding your passenger rights in the event of you being denied boarding, a cancellation, long delay or downgrading. This acts to streamline the complaints/compensation process while doing away with tedious processing of claims.

A second phase of website revamp project, which has already commenced, will look at how the Commission can better provide electronic services for licensing applications through its website.  The Commission is continuing to work with Webtrade on this project.

"Thank you to everyone at Webtrade for all the hard work in producing the Commission's excellent new website. Webtrade have been great to work with - their approach to the project, in terms of understanding the Commission's requirements and delivering a product that met these requirements, was spot-on. The Siternity content management system provides us with an intuitive and cost effective tool for managing the content of our site and we look forward to using it in the on-going development of our website."
