Overview
One of Ireland’s leading web development companies has a vacancy for an Operations Director. This role will suit an ambitious person who is passionate about web development and would like the chance to lead the development of Webtrade’s LiveEdit™ Content Management System as well as taking overall responsibility for project management and development staff.
Detailed Description:
The Role
This is a senior management role in Webtrade reporting directly to Managing Director. You will have overall responsibility for all website development and hosting requirements. You will also have responsibility over all project management, development, design and hosting/email administration staff.
Responsibilities
• Management of all project management, development, design and support staff
• Overall responsibility for ongoing development of Webtrade’s LiveEdit™ CMS
• Liaising between sales and development staff
• Reporting as part of Management Team to Managing Director and Board
Skills & Experience
• Excellent web development background. .Net experience adavantageous.
• Proven ability to motivate and manage staff
• Excellent Communication skills
• Excellent commercial awareness

Developer
The Role:
As a Web Developer at Webtrade you will work along side our existing development team in a structured environment on web-based projects, mainly using Classic ASP, VBscript, SQL, and ASP.NET, and C#.
The role will involve working on a variety of challenging and interesting web based projects for a wide range of high profiled public and private sector organisations, with excellent career growth potential and R&D possibilities.
Key Proficiencies:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 yrs solid commercial experience developing websites and web-based applications with ASP (on IIS) using an underlying database (preferably MS SQL Server). It is advantageous to have experience in ASP.NET / C# with Object Orientated design and development experience.
You should have direct experience on commercial web development projects involving database technology, including content management systems, retail e-commerce sites, Internet payment methods, and web security issues. You must have experienced managing the building, operation, and maintenance of Internet sites.
Essential Requirements:
