A new website has just been launched by Webtrade, for the Sims Clinic and their IVF conference in Barbados. The Website promotes the 2006 Conference, jointly hosted by Sims Fertility Clinic and Boston IVF. Sponsors include Organon and Ferring Pharmaceuticals.
The focus of this years conference is "Optimizing IVF in a competitive world".
The event takes place in sunny Barbados, a stunningly beautiful island whose beauty can be explored in the social programme provided, hopefully providing a forum for friendly debate and relaxation.
The Webtrade developed comsumer website www.askcomreg.ie was publicly honoured at the EIQA (Excellence Ireland Quality Awards) annual Gala Awards Ceremony, on 13th October 2005 in the Burlington Hotel, where the website received Level 2 Certification for the W-Mark, a respected award for website accessibility and usability. The Commission for Communications Regulation (ComReg) was one of two organisations who are the first to receive this strict accreditation across the world. There were in total fifty entries for this level of certification.
ComReg Commissioner, Mike Byrne said: "ComReg is delighted to receive this award for our consumer website askcomreg.ie. ComReg is committed to ensuring consumers are fully informed about the range of communication choices available. We will continue to develop new strategies to ensure Irish consumers remained informed about developments within the telecommunications and postal sectors."
The Global Website Certification initiative – The W-Mark – is an independently assessed standards programme that evaluates and audits published websites to globally recognised standards, including website design/development best practice, website accessibility, user experience, ease of use, data/personal information integraity and website security. The W-Mark was developed by Irish based EIQA in conjunction with the eCSB (e-Commerce Standards Board).
This is one of a number of Webtrade web design projects with ComReg, having already developed the main www.comreg.ie and a number of other design initiatives, with more to come ... watch this space!!

Webtrade was contracted to provide their web design for their new web presence, which is fully content managed with our content management system together wiith website hosting, online strategy and search engine marketing of the site.
Webtrade has designed and developed the new website for leading actuaries and employee benefit consultants, Heissmann Consultants (Ireland). Heissmann specialise in providing actuarial and consulting advice to the trustees and sponsoring employers of corporate pension plans and advise in relation to other types of employee benefit plan, including employee stock purchase plans.Their new website was designed in harmony with the corporate design style of the worldwide Heissmann group of companies and uses our enterprise content management system for full management of the site. Heissmann have the ability to update the full website and to add / remove sections, images and documents as necessary.A core piece of pensions functionality behind the website is a client area where trustees and employees from their pension schemes are able to securely log in to the site to view a latest up to date statement of their pensions scheme contributions, retirement benefits, death in service details, fund values etc.A print friendly version of the contributions statement is available together with the ability for users to edit their login details. In addition, documents, booklets etc. related to each scheme are available for the user to download.

Webtrade has recently developed a new website for Fircroft Kennels, www.fircroft.ie.
Fircroft is Ireland’s leading Canine Training and Behaviour Centre. Mary Owens and her staff are experts in the field of animal training and obedience with a string of books and videos to their credit.
Their kennels and cattery are some of the best facilities in the country.
In addition, Fircroft has been sourcing, handling and training a wide variety of animals for Film, Television, Commercials and Photographic shoots for the past twenty years. Some of their animal actor work include Animal Farm, The Honeymooners, Intermission, Mystics, Far & Away, Brave Heart, The Snapper, The Last of The High Kings, I Went Down and Lassie, to name just a few.
