Webtrade has launched a new website and race entry system for the Women's Mini Marathon. The annual mini-marathon event takes place on the June Bank Holiday, Monday 6th June 2005, and covers a distance of 10km through the streets of South Dublin.    Webtrade was taken on board to design their new website, keeping with their race branding and that of their main sponsor, Flora. The full website is content managed using our LiveEdit content management system, allowing Marathon administration staff to add/edit/delete website sections/navigation and content, including race details, training schedules, past winners, latest news and photo gallery's. An online race entry system has been built to allow entrants to register all of their details online and pay their entry fee by credit card.

In a bid to generate business for his fledgling company, Jack Donaghy roped in his younger brother Patrick to keep a Webtrade golf umbrella opened during the blistering sunshine throughout the Irish Open seven years ago.  This slightly sadistic strategy paid off as Donaghy, now 34, quickly began garnering clients for his web development company. He had qualified as a chartered accountant while working at KPMG and then had two years with the Barlo Group before setting out on his own.  “I was always going to do something on my own but it was just a question of what,” said Donaghy.
